Fruit mask offered as part of Sylvie Hampikian’s skin hydration.
Fine lines of fresh fruit
Simply apply to the face. Recommended with: cucumber, watermelon, melon, mango… This type of mask requires to stay elongated!
Peel and peel the fruit if necessary, then blend the flesh. Recommended with: apples, pears, peaches, apricots, grapes, strawberries, raspberries…
Collect the juice from the citrus press or extractor. Apply as compresses. Recommended with: oranges, clementines, pomelos, apples, grapes…
Caution: acidic fruits (lemons, tomatoes, kiwis, pineapples, oranges, and sour grapefruits…) can be irritating. They are rather reserved for the care of oily and/or acne skin.
Fruit pulp and juice can be incorporated into more sophisticated masks, mixing them with other ingredients: yogurt, cottage cheese, honey, yellow or egg white…
To thicken, if necessary, add white clay or flour. However, ideally, mixing more than 3 to 4 ingredients is not recommended.
