The treatment of the face involves three fundamental gestures.
Clean/ make-up remover morning and evening
Cleaning with a suitable product is recommended:
in the morning, to eliminate sebum and dead cells accumulated on the surface of the epidermis during the night;
in the evening, to rid the skin of impurities (dust, perspiration, sebum, makeup…) of the day.
As the skin of the face is particularly sensitive, this toilet should be done with a gentle cleanser that will preserve the hydrolipidic film of the skin. Most gels or soaps for the body are too aggressive for the skin of the face. Water alone, however, is not enough.
Avoid the contour of the eyes, whose skin is extremely fragile.
Do not rub your skin when cleaning: massage gently with a cotton pad or fingertips.
Wipe the skin thoroughly with a clean towel.
Hydrate every day
The application of a moisturizing treatment allows to maintain the protective role of the epidermis, to preserve its physical qualities, including its elasticity; and helps to delay the appearance of signs of aging.
This gesture is particularly important in winter and summer: the cold, the wind and the significant temperature contrasts and the sun promote skin drying.
Apply the care morning and evening, on perfectly cleansed skin, from the center of the face to the outside; by gentle gestures, to avoid wrinkling the skin.
Extend the application to the neck and décolleté, whose skin also requires regular hydration.
The quantity to be used: the equivalent of a small hazelnut.
Exfoliate, 1 to 2 times a week
Choose a gentle scrub, which you will apply with your fingertips, making small circular movements and taking care to avoid the eye contour.
Follow the recommended frequency of use: too close scrubs can:
irritate and worsen the dryness of dry skin;
Reactive hyperseborrhea of oily skin.
Perform the scrub on clean skin, and apply a moisturizer after the scrub is rinsed.
