Avocado is delicious in the kitchen, but it can also nourish your hands, your face and your hair. Discover how.
Rich in potassium and vitamins B and E, the avocado also has moisturizing and protective properties for the body. You can use it both for your sandwiches rich in good cholesterol-lowering fats, or to prepare beauty masks for your hands, face and hair.
The mask for the hands
Mix the meat of a quarter of avocado and, in a bowl, add two tablespoons of oats, one egg white, and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix until you have a smooth paste. Put the mask on your hands, massage, let sit for about twenty minutes and rinse with warm water. Your hands will be soft, smooth and fragrant.
The mask for the face
Using a blender, mix the meat of half a avocado, one egg white and a tablespoon of lemon juice until the dough is smooth. Apply to face, leave on for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water. The cleansing properties of lemon, combined with the protective properties of egg white and nourishing avocado, will leave the skin of your face elastic and toned.
The mask for the hair
Crush a avocado with a fork in a bowl, then add an egg yolk, and half a teaspoon of olive oil. Mix. Separate your hair into different locks and apply the mask by massaging zone by zone and emphasizing the tips. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse with warm water. All these foods will nourish and protect your hair while forming a protective film that protects them from external aggression.
